Our Strategy |

We will do this through worship celebrations designed both to build up those who already believe and to challenge and help those who doubt or seek; ...through a network of "small-groups" which will give people at all stages of their spiritual journey the opportunity to develop deep, caring friendships and study and investigate the timeless truth of God's Word - the Bible; ...through special events such as "Friendship Luncheons" and "Servant Evangelism Projects" which are designed to help you build relationships and demonstrate the love of Christ in your community; ...through church planting. Grace is part of a team of churches whose goal is to recruit, fund and train other church planters in the state of Utah; ...and through prayer. Without prayer, all our strategies are just a superficial religious system devoid of any power. But with a foundation of persistent prayer and reliance on the Holy Spirit, we will be transformed into a dynamic, living "body of Christ". Our PrioritiesAt Grace Church we believe a church must be healthy in four main areas: Worship - Nurture - Mercy - Outreach Worship - our highest calling and priority (John 4:23) Nurture - forming deep friendships and fostering spiritual growth Mercy - demonstrating compassion and help to each other and to our community Outreach - our high privilege to reach our culture with the message of God's grace Our PowerWe are utterly dependent upon God's grace in every aspect of our ministry, so prayer is critical for our success. The approach God blesses is one of humility and brokenness. Apart from Him, we can do nothing. Unless the Lord builds the house, those who labor, labor in vain. So, we set about pursuing healthy practices, but understand that ultimately, our destiny is in the hands of our sovereign God. Our Theme VersesActs 2:42-47, "And they devoted themselves to the apostles teaching and fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles,. And all who believed were together and had all things in common. And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved." |
